I just need someone to listen.
“However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light.”
I love getting hate mail about my photography this early in the day. Awesome.
Just posted a few older photographs that I pulled off my external, trying to update my portfolio for some internship applications. Let me know what you think of them.
“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light.”
I have returned from my New York adventure, and I am more than pleased to be home. It has been a strange transition finding my place back home and figuring out my next move. I start classes again a week from Thursday so for right now I plan on taking it easy and doing a few shoots here and there. As far as any photography plans for the fall, I think I am going to take down www.britternst.com and work on an entirely updated portfolio. Though most of you have not seen it, my style has progressed and grown into an entirely new animal. With that said, updates are needed. Alongside photographing this summer, I dove back into my former love of drawing, painting, and sewing. Needless to say, I have been a busy girl.
I’ll be opening an etsy store in the coming months featuring vintage pieces, some of which have been slightly altered & redesigned.
If you are interested in booking a shoot, please contact me for a quote.
Can’t wait to show you all what I am working on.
Later Kansas, its been real.
NYC, see you in 2 weeks.
remember not our faulty pieces.
remember not our rusted parts.
its not the petty imperfections that define us,
but the way we hold our hearts,
and the way we hold our heads.
